With its annual assessment of large companies’ sustainability and corporate responsibility performance, the global rating agency EcoVadis sets the #1 standard to follow. The EcoVadis scorecard reflects the quality of a company’s ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) performance, on key topics such as environmental aspects, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.

In the 2025 edition, Jotun is rated among the very best.

“We are very proud of the results in the new scorecard. We have improved and are now in the Gold group, meaning top 5% overall”, say Agnethe Eyde and Erik Danielsen from the sustainability team in Jotun Group Purchasing, who coordinated the work from Jotun’s side.

“For us in Jotun, the EcoVadis framework is an important part of our toolbox when we evaluate suppliers. Likewise, we know our customers assess Jotun’s EcoVadis score to support their decisions”, according to Anders Skilbred, Global Sustainability Manager.

The paint and coatings manufacturer’s new total score is 79 points.

“This is a result of hard work and well-structured efforts across functions and departments in Jotun. We extend our gratitude to all employees, partners, and stakeholders who have contributed to this achievement”, say Eyde and Danielsen.
