A two-component polyamide-cured zinc-rich epoxy coating for where high durability is required.
Barrier 85 is a two-component polyamide-cured zinc rich epoxy coating designed as a primer for coating systems where extended durability is required. It has 85% zinc content giving it excellent corrosion protection as part of a complete coating system. Barrier 85 is suitable for structural steel and piping exposed in corrosivity categories up to C5 (ISO 12944-2). It is recommended for offshore environments, refineries, power plants, bridges, buildings, and mining equipment. Barrier 85 complies with ASTM D520 type II zinc dust and is SSPC level 1 certified.
